During the APBA National Championships, Johnathan Dent from Honduras, currently living in Ohio suffered a fractured leg while racing the R/A 800 class.  He was taken to a local Nashville hospital where he was treated and released Saturday nigh just in time for the award ceremony.  During the ceremony, Freddy Vaca from Sims Racing announced the $500.00 donation to Dent on his behalf and of all his supporting sponsors.  The APBA also raised money from various racers and regions to support Dent's deductible payment.  Many thanks to everyone that participated.
